DETAILS ON THE OCTOBER 15TH MARCH ON WASHINGTON FOR JOBS AND JUSTICE


Event Name- National Action Network’s Rally and March- From the Emancipator (Abraham Lincoln) to the Liberator (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.)

Event Background- National Action Network’s October 15th march will call attention to key issues that have not been remedied in this country. As working Americans struggle to gain employment and livable wages, we continue to watch rampant foreclosures and fluctuating markets most heavily impacting those that are already suffering under tumultuous financial times.  NAN, and its partners in labor, education, civil rights and clergy, call on every man, woman and child who understands the urgency of social justice on all levels to join them in Washington, D.C.

Event Highlights/Features- Speakers include Co-Hosts Rev. Al Sharpton and Tom Joyner, and co-chairs for the event include: Richard L.
