Wanna Get Divorced? - ALEC Has an Act for That!

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- The Southern U.S. has the highest divorce rate of any region of the country with couples splitting up at a faster pace than the national level, the U.S. Census Bureau reported Thursday. In the South, the divorce rate in 2009 was 10.2 per 1,000 for men and 11.1 per 1,000 for women, compared with a national rate of 9.2 for men and 9.7 for women. Fourteen states had higher divorce rates for men than the U.S. average, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) – has an act for that.
If your ALEC legislator gets this ALEC “model legislation” to pass in your state –
you will have to stay married until hell freezes over.

Wanna get divorced?
Eventually, you won't have the option if you have  ALEC legislators in your state legislature.

What's the method behind this ALEC madness (legislation)?
Well if you can't get divorced, ALEC is counting on the fact that you will probably end up killing the other person or harming them in some way.  When you do this - you will go to jail.  While in the jail - which has been privatized by ALEC corporate sector members - you will be required to work for ALEC private sector members for 20 - 50 cents per hour - six days a week, taking jobs away from the general public, so ALEC members can make massive profits off your 20 - 50 cent per hour labor.  It's called prison labor - look it up on the internet - I'm not lying.

The institution of marriage is one of the fundamental building blocks of our society, embodying the values of commitment, loyalty, trust, and mutual support. Currently, every state except South Dakota provides some form of no-fault divorce, while several states provide no-fault as the only means for nullifying marital contracts. The following legislation provides that the dissolution of a marriage will only take place by showing a preponderance of the evidence by one party of the fault of the other party which constitutes grounds for the end of a marriage.

A vote for an ALEC legislative candidate -
is a vote for greater pro-corporate representation and legislation  in your state,
is a vote against small and medium size business in your state,
is a vote against representative government for the people, and
is a vote against the very beliefs of the United States of America.
